David London is not a magician…well, he is a magician, but he is also a performance artist, an artist and a filmmaker. Such a unique combination has continuously produced work that captures the imagination and blurs the line between fantasy and reality. David’s performances and lectures are an original blend of magical moments and offbeat humor designed to simultaneously enhance and shatter the audience’s perception.

 

In David’s lecture he will demonstrate, in a magical way, how to think outside the box… literally. Next, David moves into some of his original card ideas and handlings.  David will then share some ideas based in mentalism, that are entertaining, funny and amazing. All of this and much more, plus David will take you behind the scenes to show you see how he has pieced together his entire act, including introductions, transitions plus other important performance techniques that are often ignored by magicians and mentalists.

 

As the creator of four theatrical productions, “Cerebral Sorcery,” “…Art of Dreams,” and “The Adventure to the Imagi Nation,” and “(insert title here),” as well as the editor of “Beyond The Smoke and Mirrors,” David has developed a perspective on magic that is entirely his own. His material has been experienced at MINDvention, NEMCON, The ICBM Gathering, Magic Chicago, The Comedy & Mystery Society, as well as museums and theaters nationwide. He is also the only person ever to go out on the Double D Lecture Tour, twice. Once opening for Arthur Trace, and most recently opening for Rick Maue.
